Hi Rebecca

Freddy sounds just gorgeous!

WOW I'm amazed there are so many others on here as mad about cats as me!

We have 4 female cats ranging in age from 7 -13 (2 of which are very greedy and fat Blushing), 3 of which were rescue cats and in the last couple of weeks the cat from next door Tom has recently decided to move in as well as his owner isn't able to look after him very well anymore due to ill health and unfortunately he spent all his time locked outside, so our cat flap was just too irresistible for him. He came in through the flap 1 day and now only leaves to do his business and is back in again before you know it. He is very old somewhere around 15 or 16 we think and is a bit smelly and is half bald but we love him anyway - my 4 girlie cats are not too impressed by him but I'm sure they'll get used to him.

I know Freddy will bring you lots of joy and pleasure, I cannot imagine my life without cats - although sometimes they do seem more trouble than kids Laugh Laugh

I am animal mad too. Apart from my last cat, my adorable Boris, I have had many cats in my life, in fact I can't remember a time when I haven't had a cat but Boris was so special. My son has a Jack Russell now and we look after him quite often so am unable to have a cat myself as JRs and cats don't mix, especially with Dylan who is a rescue working dog. When he sees a cat he goes absolutely nuts but he is gorgeous so all my animal affection is now centred on him. I also had a rat this year that I called Vinny after my dad. My son got one at the same time. Unfortunately Vinny never really thrived and died when he was a few months old but Loki my sons rat is massive now. We look after him occasionally too. He is lovely and likes to be carried around the house on my shoulder. It is lovely hearing about all your cats. I hope Freddie is now settled and enjoying life in his new home.
